Former President Yadav hospitalized



KATHMANDU: Former President Ram Baran Yadav has been admitted to Bir Hospital.

The former President was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after complaining of high blood pressure, diabetes and back pain, according to Vice Chancellor of National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) Prof Dr Bhupendra Kumar Basnet.

Likewise, Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet visited the former President Yadav and took stock of Yadav’s health condition from the hospital.

According to Minister Basnet, the health condition of the leaders is improving.

The Bir Hospital shared that former President Yadav would stay in the hospital for some more days. “His health condition is stable. The team of doctors is examining his health condition. So, he will be under doctor’s observation for some more days,” Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Basnet said.
