Nepal sees 17 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 141



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 17 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

All the confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 505 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All 505 samples were tested through RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 141 active cases in the country as 23 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
