Former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand arrested

Khand's personal secretary Narendra KC also arrested



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has been arrested from his Maijubahal residence in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Former Home Minister Khand along with his aide Narendra KC have also been arrested by the police form Jadibuti in connection with the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.

The audio of the accused in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees was released last week.

Police are also investigating the audio.

In the same case, CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi is absconding.
