Nepal sees 124 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 444

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 124 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 77 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  47 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,566 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 903 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,663 through the Antigen method.

There are 444 active cases in Nepal as 29 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
