KATHMANDU: The Secretariat of the Promotion Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of five Deputy Inspector Generals as Additional Inspector Generals (AIGs).
According to IGP Dhiraj Pratap Singh, the promotion recommendation committee meeting held today decided to recommend the DIGs for promotion to the post of AIGs.
IGP Singh Singh informed that DIGs Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, Tekprasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyamalal Gyawali, and Kiran Bajracharya have been recommended for promotion to AIG.
