Police nab one with fake currency.



KATHMANDU: A woman has been apprehended in possession of fake bank notes.

The arrested woman is 42-year-old Ganga Tamang of Kalika Municipality-1, the District Police Office Chitwan said.

Police confiscated 37 wads of Rs 1,000 denomination fake bank notes from her room, Deputy Superintendent of Police Narahari Adhikari said.

He shared that the currency notes found in Tamang’s room were fake. Adhikari added that investigation has been initiated against Tamang on the charge of possessing fake currency.
