KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division (WFD) has reported a partial influence of westerly winds currently affecting Nepal.
Some parts of the country may experience a chance of rain and snowfall today.
The morning is expected to see partial cloud cover in hilly regions, while the remainder of the country will have generally clear skies.
During the afternoon, the Division has anticipated continued cloudy conditions in the hilly areas, while the rest of the nation will enjoy clear weather.
In certain hilly regions, there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning, with the chance of light snowfall in select highland and Himalayan regions.
Tonight, the mountainous areas are forecasted to remain partly cloudy, whereas the remainder of the country will maintain clear conditions.
The high hills and Himalayan regions in the Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may experience light snowfall at one or two locations, according to the Division.
