Lumbini Economic Affairs Minister’s vehicle meets with an accident



BUTWAL: A vehicle carrying Lumbini Province’s Economic Affairs Minister, Dhan Bahadur Maskey, met with an accident in Tulsipur, Dang on Monday.

According to sources, the accident occurred as the vehicle Lu 1 Jha 738 was returning to Deukhuri after Minister Maskey had attended an event in Tulsipur, Dang at Sheetalpur, Tulsipur.

The vehicle, which had five occupants including Minister Maskey, encountered the accident when a child unexpectedly appeared on the road. Shambhu Gautam, the minister’s personal secretary, was behind the wheel and attempted to swerve to avoid the child. Unfortunately, the car veered off the road and ended up in a ditch.

Reports state that all five passengers, including the minister, sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, the vehicle itself did not suffer any significant damage and came to a stop in a nearby thicket.
