PM Dahal, Deuba and Oli hold talks at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli held talks on various issues on Tuesday.

During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, the three top leaders discussed current issues, particularly the issue of fake Bhutanese refugees, and the involvement of top political leaders in the scam.

The issue of fake Bhutanese refugees has been widely criticized lately.

Police have also arrested some people for their involvement in the scam while UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayajahi is absconding.

On Monday, lawmakers at the House of Representatives (HoR) asked the government to take stern action against those involved in the scam.
