KATHMANDU: Kiran Pokharel has been appointed as the Press Adviser of President Ram Chandra Paudel.

President Paudel appointed Pokharel as his Press Adviser on Sunday.

Pokharel is the former President of the Nepali Congress-affiliated Nepal Press Union.

President Paudel previously appointed Nepali Congress central member Sunil Bahadur Thapa as Political Advisor, former Governor of Rastra Bank Dr. Chiranjeevi Paudel as Economic Advisor; former Ambassador Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalise as Chief Private Secretary and Baburam Kunwar as Legal Adviser.
