UML decides to retain ruling coalition at any cost

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML, a key party in the ruling coalition, has decided to retain the coalition at any cost.

According to UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, the Secretariat meeting held at the party headquarters in Chyasal on Thursday came to the conclusion that the party should play its best to safeguard the ruling alliance.

“Since there is an alliance of different parties, it is natural for disagreements to arise, we are determined to retain the ruling alliance,” he said, adding, “We will leave no stone unturned to maintain political stability in the country.”

Leader Gyawali wished Rastriya Swatantra Party had not left the government and asserted that UML will work out to bridge the differences that have emerged among the partners of the ruling alliance.
