Province 1 Chief Minister Karki takes oath of office



BIRATNAGAR: Newly appointed Chief Minister of Province no. 1, Hikmat Kumar Karki, has taken oath of office and secrecy today.

Amidst a ceremony held at the Office of the Province Chief, Province Chief Parshuram Khapung administered the oath to Chief Minister Karki, in accordance with Article 168 (2) of the Constitution.

Similarly, newly appointed ministers—Til Kumar Meyangbo (Limbu), Bhakti Prasad Sitaula and Nirmala Limbu took oath of office and secrecy from Province Chief Khapung.
