HoR nominates seven members to chair meeting during Speaker’s absence

KATHMANDU: Monday’s meeting of the House of Representatives has nominated a group of seven parliamentarians to chair a parliament meeting during the absence of the Speaker.

The seven members nominated by the HoR senior most member Pashupati Shumsher JBR include Ishwori Neupane, Chanda Karki Bhandari, Devraj Ghimire, Pratikshya Tiwari, Buddhi Man Tamang, Ram Krishna Yadav and Sushila Sirpali Thakuri.

Meanwhile, the meeting unanimously endorsed the proposal to conduct the HoR business as per the House of Representatives Regulations, 2075 BS until its new regulations are made in line with Article 104 of the Constitution.
