Entry of new lawmakers is victory of democracy: PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that the entry of new lawmakers in the House of Representatives (HoR) is a symbol of inclusive democracy.

“I firmly believe that the entry of new lawmakers in the parliament is a victory of democracy,” PM Dahal said while addressing the first meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday.

Pm Dahal said, “I very much hope that they would play a constructive role in the parliament.”

Meanwhile, he also said his effort would move forward on the basis of consensus.

“I will put all my efforts to work by bringing all parties into confidence,” he said.
