KATHMANDU: The first session of the Federal Parliament following the House of Representatives (HoR) election is underway at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneswor.
This is the first session of the HoR and 13th session of the NA.
In the meetings of the HoR and NA , a letter received from the Office of the President on summoning the Federal Parliament Session has been read out.
The letters from the Office of the President on the appointment of the Prime Minister and the formation of the Council of Ministers have also been read out.
Leaders of the political parties are addressing the HoR and NA.
The senior-most member of the HoR Pashupati Shumsher Rana is charing the meeting.
