ACC U-19 Asia Cup Cricket: Nepal loses to Pakistan by seven wickets



KATHMANDU: In a match held in Dubai, Nepal faced a defeat against Pakistan during the ACC U-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament.

Pakistan clinched victory by 7 wickets after successfully chasing down Nepal’s target of 153 runs in just 26 overs.

Azaan Awais led the charge for Pakistan, securing the highest score of 56 runs, while Saad Baig contributed 50 runs to Pakistan’s winning total. Nepal’s Gulshan Jha claimed 2 wickets, with Akash Tripathi securing one wicket for the team.

Having lost the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal struggled and lost all their wickets in 47 overs, managing a total of 152 runs.

Uttam Magar emerged as the top scorer for Nepal, accumulating 51 runs. However, apart from Dipesh Kandel with 31 runs and Arjun Kumal with 21 runs, the rest of the Nepali batsmen failed to reach double figures.
