NEPSE declines by 35.67 points on Sunday



KATHMANDU: On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw a big decline. On Sunday, the NEPSE index fell by 35.67 points.

Due to this decline, the NEPSE index has fallen to 1921.24 points. However, despite the decline in the index, the transaction amount is 1.8 billion rupees.

In Sunday’s trading, a total of 16 companies’ share prices increased, while 213 companies decreased. There has been no change in the prices of the four companies.

Even though the market fell on Sunday, the share price of the two companies increased by more than nine percent. These companies include Barahi Hydropower Public Limited and Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme 2. Similarly, the value of Himalayan Microfinance and Garima Ventures, 2085 has decreased by 10 percent.

Shivam Cement became the company to have the highest transaction today. It had a turnover of 67.3 million rupees.
