Narayangadh-Muglin road obstructed due to landslides

KATHMANDU: Relentless rainfall-induced landslides have led to the obstruction of the Narayangadh-Muglin road stretch.

Multiple landslides have transpired at various points along the route, notably at Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-6 Kalikhola.

Since 5:30 in the morning, the road has remained impassable due to the landslide’s aftermath.

The Road Division Office Bharatpur has been engaged in clearance operations since the early hours.

Despite their efforts, it is projected that approximately three hours will be needed to successfully eliminate the debris, contingent on the absence of any further landslides.
