AFC Women’s U-20 Asia Cup Qualifier: China beat Nepal 5-0



KATHMANDU: In the AFC Women’s U-20 Asia Cup Qualifier, Nepal suffered a massive defeat against China.

Nepal lost to China 5-0 in the ongoing qualifying match in Myanmar on Thursday.

This is Nepal’s second defeat in a row. In the first match of Group B, Nepal was defeated by the host Myanmar by 5-0 goals.

After conceding four goals in the first half against China, Nepal conceded one goal in the second half.

In China’s victory, Yuyang Yuhan scored in the 16th minute, Hou Yuqin scored in the 26th minute, and Yin Lihong and Lu Jaeul scored in the injury time of the first half. The fifth goal was added by Yu Jiki in the 89th minute.

With the second defeat in a row, Nepal’s chances of qualifying have become weak.
Nepal will compete against Chinese Taipei in the final match of the group stage on Saturday.
