Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 14



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

The confirmed cases were detected through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 806 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 132 were tested through RT-PCR method and 674 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 14 active cases in the country as three infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
