NCP holding nationwide protests against market price rise



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplav is organizing nationwide protests on February 17 and 27.

Party Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma said that the party is holding a nationwide protest against the market price hike, which he claimed was affecting the day-to-day lives of the common people.

He also stated that the party has decided to raise the issue of transformation among all communist forces both in and outside the parliament.

Bishwakarma said that his party has decided to launch a struggle to safeguard national independence, people’s political and economic rights and people’s livelihood.

He also said that the party will continue to protest against the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), State Partnership Program (SPP), Agneepath, Upper Karnali, Arun III, Mahakali encroachments, among other issues.
