Boy goes missing after falling off tuin in Mahakali river



DHANGADHI: A boy has gone missing after falling from a tuin while crossing the Mahakali River in Darchula.

A 10-year-old boy from Byas Rural Municipality-4, Dipendra Bista, went missing after falling while crossing the river by a tuin, police said.

Police Inspector Jagat Magar of the District Police Office informed that the boy went missing on Thursday, but the news was received only on Saturday.

After receiving the news, the local police team was deployed to search for the child.

According to police, the boy’s mother had gone to the Indian forest to cut straw by crossing the river by the tuin.

The child, a grade 4 student, also followed his mother and went missing.
