Lieutenant General Ashok Raj Sigdel
KATHMANDU: The government has given the green light to the promotion of Major General Ashok Raj Sigdel of the Nepal Army to the rank of Lieutenant General.
A Cabinet meeting held earlier this morning took a decision to this effect.
The decision follows a recommendation from the Nepal Army Headquarters.
Sigdel is now almost confirmed to be the next Chief of the Nepal Army.
