Nepal sees 99 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 373

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 99 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as Friday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 41 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  58 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,635 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 177 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,458 through the Antigen method.

There are 373 active cases in Nepal as 26 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
