CMP is dull and prosaic: NC General Secretary Thapa

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary and Member of Parliament Gagan Kumar Thapa has termed the common minimum program (CMP) introduced by the government on Thursday as dull and essay-like.

Speaking at a special time of the House of Representatives meeting on Friday, the NC General Secretary expressed displeasure at the government’s policy and program.

Thapa opined that as the leader of the team the Prime Minister has to be inspiring and prompting to the duties assigned to the Ministers.

He urged the Prime Minister to execute the duties assuming that he (PM Dahal) would be in power just for six months.

NC General Secretary Thapa assured that the entire Parliament would support the Prime Minister and asked him to work fearlessly in improving the personnel system, ending impunity like usury and human trafficking.

He asked the government to speed up the delivery with the slogan ‘one day, one result’.
