KATHMANDU: A joint meeting of all Maoist factions is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar this morning.

Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, Chairman of CPN Revolutionary Maoists Mohan Vaidya Kiran, Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, General Secretary of CPN-Maoist Netra Bikram Chand Biplav, Maoist leader Dharmendra Bastola and Karnajit Budhathoki are discussing the political developments in the meeting.

Maoist leaders are discussing issues such as party unity, conflict-related events, Transitional Justice, among others, are being discussed.

Earlier, the leaders of all the Maoist factions spoke in favor of uniting and fighting against all “regressive” forces and attacks against them.
