UML cites lack of preparation to postpone Feb 12 CC meet

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML central committee meeting has been postponed due to the lack of necessary preparations for it.

According to UML Publicity Department Deputy Chief Bishnu Rijal, the new date of the meeting will be decided soon.

The central committee was scheduled to meet on February 12 and 13 to discuss the upcoming National Assembly by-elections, contemporary politics, and organizational strengthening of the party, among others.

The meeting of the party’s Central Committee was being held for the first time after the election of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly on November 20.

The party has decided to hold the party’s Secretariat meeting on February 9.
