NC parliamentary party meeting underway in Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party (PP) has started.

The meeting started at NC’s PP office at Singha Durbar.

NC President and parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, along with his wife Arju Deuba, has reached Singha Durbar to participate in the meeting.

Although the meeting was scheduled for 1 pm, it started late as party leader Deuba did not reach there on time.

NC PP meeting is discussing about CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s letter appealing it to support in the vote of confidence motion scheduled for January 11.

Although Maoist Center and NC took part in the November 20 General Election, Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda quitted the NC President Deuba-led coalition and formed another coalition with support from the then main opposition CPN-UML.
