Rhino found dead in Bardiya



BARDIYA: A female rhino that set out from Bardiya National Park has been found dead at Bajpur community forest, Geruwa Rural Municipality.

The rhino is about 19/20 years of age and how the animal died will be known after a post-mortem examination, BNP assistant conservation officer Badri Binod Dahal said.

Despite making a good progress in increasing the population of rhinos, Nepal has also seen the increase in the instances of rhino death of late.
