Asian Games 2023: Nepal wins bronze medal in Women’s Kabaddi



KATHMANDU: Under the 19th Asian Games, Nepal won the bronze medal in women’s Kabaddi.

Nepal, which had secured at least a bronze medal by making it to the semi-finals, could not advance after losing to India today.

Although the team could not advance, Nepal won the first medal in this edition of the Asian Games.

Nepal lost to India with a score of 61-17 at Jiaosan Guali Sports Center in Hangzhou.

There is a provision to give a bronze medal to the Kabaddi team that reaches the semi-finals in the Asian Games.

The Nepali women’s kabaddi team has participated in the Asian Games for the first time.
