Prachanda to respond to central members' queries



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee (CC) meeting of the ruling Maoist Center is concluding today, marking the end of a significant gathering.

Maoist Center Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” who also serves as the Prime Minister, is set to respond to the queries and concerns raised by the party’s central members during the Central Committee meeting held since August 2 in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

A considerable number of 221 central members have expressed their opinions during the meeting, discussing various critical issues like party transformation, economic governance, corruption control, and youth participation, among other topics.

As the meeting wraps up, the party is preparing to request the remaining central members to submit their opinions in writing.

The event has seen a significant participation of 758 leaders, including Central Committee members, alternate members, and other important figures, making it a momentous occasion for the party’s decision-making process.
