NEPALGUNJ: A jailbird has committed suicide inside a prison in Nepalgunj, Banke.
Neeraj Gupta, 23, of Janaki Rural Municipality-6 hanged himself inside a washroom this morning, informed Banke Chief District Officer Bipin Acharya.
The deceased Gupta has been languishing in jail for the past three years.
The family and relatives of the deceased were informed about the incident, CDO Acharya stated.
