NEPSE increases by 25.66 points on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 25.66 points on Tuesday.

NEPSE rose by 1.35 percent to 1927.65 points today.

On Tuesday, along with the NEPSE index, the trading amount also increased compared to the previous day.

The stock market which had transactions worth Rs 1.97 billion on Monday saw an increase in transactions worth Rs 1.98 today.

There was a transaction of 55,41,878 shares of 269 securities in the stock market on Tuesday.

The share price of Nyadi Hydropower rose the most by 9.85 percent today, the share price of the company reached 301 rupees.

Similarly, the unit price of Sunrise Focused Equity Fund increased by 9.24 percent to 8 rupees 63 paise per unit.

Solti Hotel had the highest turnover on Tuesday.

The company’s shares worth 96.8 million were traded at Rs 348 per share.

Shivam Cement became the second most traded company. The company’s shares worth Rs 91.7 million have been traded at Rs 471.
