KATHMANDU: The meeting of the National Assembly scheduled for 11 am today has been postponed due to the busy schedule of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
The main opposition CPN-UML demanded answers about the Prime Minister’s visit to India from 31 May to June 3 and about the Citizenship Bill.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister was preparing to give an answer at the meeting of the National Assembly scheduled to be held on Tuesday. But the meeting itself was postponed at the last moment after the Prime Minister went to the Sudurpaschim to participate in the Khaptad National Conference.
After the Prime Minister went to Khaptad, the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Dr. Bharatraj Gautam postponed the meeting with a notice at the last moment. The meeting of the National Assembly was scheduled to be held at 11:00 am today.
The meeting is rescheduled for Wednesday.
