KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives’ Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has convened a session to delve into the intricacies of the Ncell share transactions.

Savitra Sharma, a official at the Committee, confirmed the meeting’s purpose, primarily aimed at initiating discussions on the buying and selling of shares within the Telecommunication Service Provider Organization, Ncell.

Scheduled for Wednesday at 2 pm in the committee’s Singha Durbar meeting room, the gathering will center around deliberations regarding Ncell’s operations.

Last Friday, Malaysian company Axiata declared the sale of 80 percent of its Ncell shares to UK’s Spectralite Limited for 50 million US dollars (6.66 billion rupees).
