KATHMANDU: Deputy General-Secretary and Chief of Publicity Department of the CPN-Unified Socialist, Jagannath Khatiwada, has been bereaved of his mother.
His mother, Malati Khatiwada, 80, passed away this morning in course of treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, said vice-chairperson of the party, Pramesh Hamal.
Malati is survived by a son and three daughters. Her last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Tuesday afternoon.
