NC Chief Whip of Bagmati Province PP Kafle resigns

HETAUDA: Kundan Raj Kafle, Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress (NC) Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party (PP), has tendered his resignation from the role.

He stated that his decision stemmed from his inability to allocate sufficient time to both the party’s organizational needs and the demands of his chief whip position.

Kafle shared his resignation via social media along with a message that read, “I have officially resigned from my position as Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party.”

He went on to elaborate, “It is evident to all that a dynamic and robust Congress is essential for the future of our nation and democracy. During my tenure as Chief Whip, I recognized the challenge of balancing my commitments to the party’s organization and public service.”

He continued by saying, “Hence, as a central committee member, I have voluntarily stepped down from this role to actively contribute to revitalizing the Nepali Congress with renewed vigor and to wholeheartedly serve the people of Dolakha.”
