Govt blacklists 13 construction companies



KATHMANDU: The government has blacklisted 13 construction companies.

The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted 13 construction companies.

Two construction companies have been blacklisted for three, two for two years, one construction company blacklisted for one and a half years and seven other construction companies for up to one year.

Companies which have been blacklisted wil not be allowed to take part in any procurement process of the public body from the date of publication of the notice (September 5) during the period of blacklisting.

The companies include Ganapati Construction Kanchanpur; Tathya Engineering and Infrastructure Mumbai and Joshi Wiz House Pvt Ltd have been blacklisted for three years.

Similarly, Shivalaya Builders Pvt Ltd Makwanpur; and Ajna & Company Pvt Ltd Biratnagar have been blacklisted for two years.

Chulidanda Construction Service, Kathmandu has been blacklisted for one and a half years, according to the list issued by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office today.

Similarly, Epic Computers Traders Kathmandu; Makar Ganesh Construction Pvt. Ltd. Kathmandu; Baba Infra Project Pvt. Ltd; Nawa Nirman and Builders Pokhara; and U.D. Elit Construction and Suppliers, Teku has been blacklisted for one year.

Similarly, Putalikath Construction Services Pvt Ltd Dolakha, and Arbindra Construction Bharatpur have also been blacklisted for one year.
