KATHMANDU: The general discussion on the government’s annual estimate of revenue and expenditure (budget) for the financial year 2080/81 has started in the House of Representatives.
In the meeting today of the House of Representatives, Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat presented a proposal to begin a general discussion on the new financial year budget.
Members of Parliament taking part in the discussion are expressing their views on the budget from their party perspective.
Finance Minister Dr. Mahat presented the budget for the financial year 2080/81 at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on May 29.
