Buddha Air pilot faces action for capturing photos/videos during flight

KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has taken action against a Buddha Air pilot who was found taking photos and videos inside an aircraft during a flight.

The CAAN stated that appropriate measures have been implemented following the pilot’s reckless behavior of capturing photos and videos of the aircraft while it was in operation, thereby endangering air safety.

According to Jagannath Niraula, the Director of CAAN, the pilot in question has been suspended from active duty after a complaint was filed against him for capturing photos and videos during a flight.

The Authority has initiated an inquiry into this matter and has asked the pilot to provide clarification regarding the incident.

The name of the pilot, however, has not been disclosed.
