KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane is holding what he said a “special press conference” today (Sunday).

Lamichhane said he would hold a special press conference soon after the meeting of his party later today.

Lamichhane, who was elected from Chitwan-2, lost his post as the Member of Parliament (MP) after being found guilty in the citizenship dispute.

Even though Lamichhane has been insisting that he should get the post of the Home Minister, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has suggested him to agree on the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.

The RSP has warned that it would withdraw its support to the government if it did not get the Ministry of Home Affairs.
