Police nab two involved in online sex trafficking operation



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu police have apprehended two individuals allegedly involved in orchestrating a sex trafficking operation through social media platforms across various locations in the Kathmandu Valley.

The suspects, identified as Suresh Kumar Shrestha, aged 27, hailing from Bhumlu rural municipality-4 in Kavrepalanchok and currently residing in Lajimpat, Kathmandu, and Suraj Khadka, aged 27, a resident of Kalanki, Kathmandu, were taken into custody.

The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office confirmed that the arrested individuals have been transferred to the District Police Complex Kathmandu for further legal proceedings.
