KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has highlighted the influence of a low-pressure area in Uttar Pradesh, India, coupled with the partial impact of western winds shaping the current weather conditions in Nepal.
This morning, scattered rain has been reported across different parts of the country, specifically in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Sudurpaschim, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Additionally, certain areas are witnessing light snowfall.
As the day unfolds, the afternoon weather is projected to clear up in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and the Koshi provinces.
The Division anticipates the likelihood of light rain in selected high hilly and mountainous areas, along with a chance of light snowfall in a few locations within the same provinces today.
