Taking to social sites, Prime Minister Dahal appealed to all political parties, the private sector, and civil society to collaborate and join hands in the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of quake-affected people.

He mentioned that he reached the earthquake-hit areas to take stock of damages caused by devastating earthquakes, to listen pain of victims, to rescue the injured, and to provide relief to quake survivors.

The earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale with its epicenter in Ramidanda of Barekot rural municipality-1 in Jajarkot occurred Friday night.

PM Dahal had reached the earthquake-affected areas along with the medical team and relief materials this morning. He met the injured ones receiving treatment at different hospitals in Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim and enquired about their health condition.

Urging the injured ones not to panic much, PM Dahal assured that the government stands by them in this moment of crisis.
