Jajarkot earthquake update: Death toll climbs to 128



JAJARKOT: The latest report from the Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed that the death toll in the Jajarkot and West Rukum earthquake, which occurred last night, has risen to 128.

Out of the total casualties, 92 individuals lost their lives in Jajarkot, while 36 fatalities were reported in Rukum West.

Additionally, the number of injured individuals has soared to 140, with 55 people sustaining injuries in Jajarkot and 85 in Rukum West, as stated by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Efforts are currently underway to gather comprehensive details regarding the extent of the damage caused by the devastating earthquake.

The 6.4 magnitude earthquake rocked Jajarkot and Rukum West last night, causing significant structural damage and leading to the collapse of numerous buildings.

The powerful tremors also resulted in hundreds of injuries in the affected area.

The impact of the earthquake was felt across Jajarkot and Rukum West, inflicting significant human casualties and material devastation.
