President Paudel appeals for rescue and relief of earthquake survivors

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel said he is saddened over the loss of human lives and property in the earthquake that took place in Jajarkot and Rukum West last night.

According to the Office of the President, he has appealed to the government and all concerned to ensure effective rescue and relief work in the quake-affected areas.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred on Friday night with its epicenter at Ramidanda in Barekot Rural Municipality-1 of Jajarkot.
