National Security Council meeting takes place in Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: The National Security Council convened its meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu on Wednesday.

In attendance were Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, as well as the heads of various security agencies.

The agenda for today’s meeting, as reported by PM Dahal’s Secretariat, included discussions on the nation’s security landscape and forthcoming strategies.

Moreover, the ongoing unrest in Nepalgunj since last Tuesday was a subject of comprehensive deliberation during the session.
