One more Chinese national apprehended in 11 kg gold smuggling case



KATHMANDU: Authorities have made another significant arrest in connection with the 11 kg gold smuggling case in Dolakha, involving a Chinese national.

The suspect, identified as 66-year-old Agar Lams, also known as Tasi Dawa, is a Chinese citizen residing in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, Kimdol.

Law enforcement officials took him into custody as part of their ongoing investigation, suspecting his involvement in the illegal transportation of gold from China to Nepal.

This arrest brings the total number of individuals apprehended in connection with this case to 10.
