Nepalgunj under curfew even today

KATHMANDU: Nepalgunj remains under curfew for another day today.

The Banke District Administration Office has enforced an indefinite curfew in Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city starting from 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

This measure is in response to the increasing religious tensions that have plagued Nepalgunj in recent days.

To address the situation and promote harmony among the Hindu and Muslim communities, the administration held an all-party meeting on Tuesday.

Furthermore, a unity rally took place in Nepalgunj on Tuesday morning, as part of ongoing efforts to cultivate peace and mutual understanding within the city.
