Kaligandaki corridor obstructed

TRIVENI: The Kaligandaki Corridor has been obstructed due to landslides caused by heavy rains.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel reported that the Kaligandaki Corridor has been entirely blocked as a result of landslides in the Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East) Nawalpur section.

The Kaligandaki Corridor has remained inaccessible since last night due to a landslide in Bulingtar Rural Municipality-1.

DSP Paudel mentioned that immediate vehicle operation is challenging due to the ongoing rain.

With the Kaligandaki Corridor blocked due to landslides, vehicles traveling through this section are currently unable to operate.

This section serves as a vital route connecting Gandakot to Bullingtar in Nawalpur, Boudikali, Rampur in Palpa, Tanahun, Pokhara, Syangja, and other locations.

DSP Paudel further noted that the continuous rainfall has caused damage to rural roads in hilly areas of the district, making traffic conditions increasingly difficult.
